Using Karaoke as a medium, the piece extrapolates inherent qualities of the style through generic means.
Luminous Hue, ad(d) libitum. Karaoke - Disc 1 of 4, with a seeming mismatch of genres and styles, uses the
Karaoke’s extensive capabilities of working with and through whatever is played by it. Rock, pop, Musicals,
and ballads are all available to perform, played through visual generic expressions as found in the general
idea of karaoke. In using ”auto-tune” in order to make the songs singable to people who have never heard
them before, the audience are invited up on the stage to perform the piece.
